HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR CHILDREN'S BOOK TO THE MAXY AWARDS
WHO MAY ENTER?
Authors and publishers with any copyright or publication date may enter. Unpublished material is welcome, submitted digitally as a final manuscript (PDF format). Published material can be digitally submitted as a PDF, EPUB, or WORD eBook. There are two deadlines for this event, with the “Early Entry” fee being less. We only accept digital copies at this time, no physical copies will be accepted.
HOW TO ENTER
Submit your title in one or more categories by selecting each product and filling out the required form, then add to cart and finalize payment. If submitting to multiple categories use promo code MORETHAN1 at checkout.
DEADLINES
Early Entry - Deadline: December 31, 2025 ($65 for one category, receive 25% off for multiple categories using promo code: MORETHAN1)
Final Call - Deadline: January 1, 2026 - February 28, 2026 ($75 for one category, receive 25% off for multiple categories using promo code: MORETHAN1)
JUDGES
Lianne Bennett received her BA from Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Georgia and her M. Ed. From University of Tennessee, Chattanooga. She has taught middle school and high school reading for 33 years and currently works with ESE students and their parents.
Teresa Ammons Crew is a lifelong educator who holds a Ph.D. in Creative Writing. She resides in upstate South Carolina with her family.
Amy Sampson-Cutler is an author who earned her master’s degree in creative writing from Goddard College. Her work can be found in Slut Vomit: An Anthology of Sex Work, Tales to Terrify, wow-women on writing, the Pitkin Review and more. She is the Executive Manager at Mount Peter Ski Area, where she grew up skiing in the winter and dreaming up stories in the summer.
Michaela Kennedy is an indie romance author with a passion for supporting the independent publishing community. She has been featured in Author’s Porch magazine, where she promoted her books and shared her journey as a writer. Michaela volunteers with Indie Book Vault, helping connect indie authors with readers through social media management and coordinating fundraising efforts.
